DC said he and his co-hosts rolled out the red carpet for Ross and felt disrespected by how everything unfolded.

“It’s hard for me to say there ain’t no hard feelings,” DC admitted.
Rick Ross later addressed the situation on Instagram, explaining that he appeared on The 85 South Show for free as a show of support and only left because he had other business obligations. Ross denied intentionally walking out on the hosts, saying he arrived early to show love before moving on to his next commitment.
DC wasn’t convinced by the explanation, noting that several major artists—including T.I., Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, and Boosie—had also appeared on the show without being paid and stayed for complete interviews.

Now, the long-running disagreement appears to have spilled over into Ross’ music. On his latest album, the Miami rapper seemingly referenced DC Young Fly with the lyrics:

“I’m walking off on you goofy niggas that act funny / All you DC Young Flys get one time / Hopping Bob …, don’t cross the g.. line.”
Although Ross doesn’t directly explain the bars, many fans have interpreted them as another shot at DC Young Fly, suggesting the fallout from their 85 South Show interview still hasn’t been fully put to rest.
