Central, LA — Police records show ongoing conflict between Pastor Tony Spell (Life Tabernacle Church) and his neighbors, the Sherwins.
- Spell was arrested after a fight with his neighbors’ 20-year-old son. Spell says the young man threatened to hurt his wife and grandkids. Video shows Spell yelling threats and wrestling the young man to the ground.
- In May 2026, Spell’s wife told police a Sherwin son cut her off, cursed at her, and made threats while driving.
- In another incident, she said the same man made rude gestures and nearly hit their car while passing dangerously.
- Police later spoke to the young man’s father, but a fight broke out when Spell and his wife ran over filming on their phones. Cops told everyone to back off — no charges that time.
- Back in 2023, Spell’s wife accused a neighbor of blocking the church driveway with cones — but footage showed it was actually her own staff moving the cones, not the neighbor.
Spell posted bail and was released Tuesday night.
