Years ago, while playing for the Jets, Darron Lee was reportedly involved in an incident where a teammate had to intervene to stop him from harassing a woman.
Fast forward to 2026, he is allegedly accused of murdering his girlfriend, whose body was found in a home in Ooltewah. Court records indicate that police were called after Lee reportedly punched her multiple times in the head during an argument. Both a female relative and the mother of Lee’s child reported the incident. According to a police affidavit, the relative said the girlfriend had previously told her she felt unsafe around Lee, prompting the relative to confront him in the home and ask him to leave.
