A. Natural Resources

  • Control and own land, water, precious minerals, and metals.

B. Processed Resources

  • Control and own machinery, factories, and consumer items.

C. Human Capital

  • Control and own skilled, literate, and productive labor forces.

2. Economic Participation

  • Become owners and producers of jobs, rather than just employees.
  • Develop activities and mechanisms that produce wealth for Black people and their communities.
  • Create and manage resources for the economic benefit of the group.

3. Community and Economy Building

  • Establish economies within communities to produce income, wealth, jobs, and business opportunities.
  • Educate the community on the importance of understanding and building an economy.
  • Make intentional economic decisions in the best interests of Black Americans.

4. Strategic Mindset

  • Use competition culture effectively, as other ethnic subgroups have successfully done.
