On a recent Joe Budden podcast, Marc Lamont Hill made several claims about the gospel world and church leadership. Hill said that some pastors he personally knows have slept with ministers who have appeared on TBN, adding that sexual relationships among church leaders are more common than people realize.
He claimed that these encounters often happen at gospel conferences, asking rhetorically, “What do you think happens?” Hill emphasized that he was speaking from his own experiences and conversations, not making verified allegations.
Hill also said that he has spoken with Donnie McClurkin in the past and claimed that McClurkin told him he believed he was able to “pray away being gay”. Hill raised these points while discussing the controversy surrounding the Donnie McClurkin scandal.
