The woman identified in the report as Diggs’ former private chef told Dedham police that after she first contacted authorities, she received both a voicemail and text messages from a woman she believed to be Diggs’ girlfriend. The report states the messages “stated something to the effect of ‘you don’t need to do all this. It’s not that big of a deal.’” Based on those communications, she believed Diggs may have been aware that police had been contacted.

According to TMZ, attorney David Meier issued a statement addressing the allegations against Diggs, saying they “are unsubstantiated, uncorroborated, and were never investigated — because they did not occur.”
